Denise will check with Matt regarding the T-Wolves money.
The money has not been taken out of the account to pay for the TV yet.
Denise mentioned that we need to decide whether we want the booster club to be tax exempt. If we dont, we have to pay taxes on the money gained in the account. A 401C must be completed and there is a filing fee. Curt Zimmerman will look into this and provide an update at the next meeting.

Denise informed everyone that Coach Tuch told her that he would not be able to make it to this meeting.

Varsity = 1-7
Fundraiser Updates: Denise will ask the coaches to evaluate the Booster Club Fundraisers, etc..
1.
Programs -
Selling about 30-40 programs a night at the home games. Have about 850 left.
January 18th will be the last home game to sell the programs.
Will hold one program for each player and start giving them away so that our sponsors get more exposure.
Nancy mentioned that we should announce that there are coupons in the programs. Arbys has buy one roast beef and get one free.
Nancy also mentioned that our sponsors are getting exposure on our website as well.
Special Activities:
Denise said it is going well with the people that have been coordinating. Do we need new coordinators each game? Everyone agreed to continue with the current coordinators.
We still need help/coordinators for the ½ time events. What to do, etc..
Carla has been doing a great job with the sponsorship role and will continue this role.
Jane will create a poster to check out our sponsors!
Nancy will e-mail Kim and Kris to see if they have ½ time covered for the Saturday game, 1-27-07.
Parent and Senior night - Denise will e-mail the coach to see what involvement, if any, he wants the Booster Club to have. If yes, we would like feedback, from coaches, captains and players on what they would like.
Link Crew night - Did not get a lot of 9th graders there as we thought. What can we do better to promote this?
mailto:freewags@aol.comPlan to have autograph night, post game, on 2-9-07. Nancy/Pat will ask Coach Tuch if they can have their meeting after autographs, otherwise most people dont stick around. Jeff M will create a flyer to send to all the coaches (CDAA, CPTBA, etc...) for kids to bring their programs for autographs. Al suggested that we include While quantities last, in the flyer. Jeff will coordinate this. Denise suggested that we give each of the coaches a program to show their players.
Band/Music - Steve will continue to play music. He will start setting up behind the score table. This should spread the music better. Steve will let Mr. Penny know that he can use his microphone.
National Anthem - Ron said he has spots open. Denise and Al will talk to a friend of theirs, Tom, to see if he would like to sing at the 1-18-07 game.
OTHER:
Evaluation Form - Refer to the next page.
Denise mentioned that we will have a separate meeting to evaluate the Booster Club program. Denise put together an evaluation sheet. We took some time to talk about each of the items. Everyone was asked to take the evaluation with them to complete and return.
Denise asked if we should contact some parents of the girls team to see if they would like to have a combined basketball booster club for the boys and girls? Jeff Munneke will see if one of the parents would join us at our next booster club meeting.
