Spreadsheet
was provided to the attendees. Denise
walked through the spreadsheet.
Jeff
will check with the school regarding the T-Wolves money to clarify where the
money was spent to our budgeting purposes.
Jeff made a clarification on the Timberwolves
event proceeds: the Timberwolves wanted the event to be a thank you to the
community for their support. A charge for the event was the direction of the high
school. The money would pay for the security & maintenance in the school.
Any extra money was to go into the general basketball fund.
Curt
will follow up at our next meeting on getting a Federal ID #is working on
getting more information on the booster club being tax exempt. We need to
pursue for tax paying purposes. A 401C3
must be completed and there is a filing fee.

learned this past year.

Game Schedule - Special Activities
Feb. 9th: Snow Days
Royalty during half-time, we will not plan on any Booster Club Sponsored
Activity it will remain CDAA Night, and the pep band is scheduled to be
there. All CDAA kids will receive a free program and we would like
players to stay on the court at the end of the game to sign the
programs. Lori will supply pens for players.
Feb. 13th: Comp
Squad - Steve Walker will provide music for the remaining games.
Feb. 20th: Lori will
coordinate a game during half-time and we will announce all the remaining
businesses that advertised in the
program. We will also honor Sam for singing the National Anthem for most of the
games.
Feb. 22nd: scheduled as
"Senior Night" we would like to change it to "Parents
Night". It is the 9th graders
last game and we would like them to participate in Parents Night. Thoughts:
Before the game JV and Varsity honor their parents and during half-time, the
9th and 10th graders will honor their parents. We will get these changes
approved by the activity office & Coach Tuch
Denise will talk to Coach Tuch
regarding his plans to recognize the JV & Varsity players
Ron will create a flyer and we will
email it to all the parents we have on our email list.
We will leave it up to the coaches
to handle the basketball banquet the way they feel appropriate.
Feb. 27th would then be "Senior
Night". It was mentioned to purchase something special for seniors,
Jeff suggested a basketball and have the name imprinted on the ball. Jeff will
look into the cost.

Ron will talk to Matt Matson
regarding any open dates to have an early bird basketball tournament at the
high school
