The first
annual golf fundraiser
at Pheasant Acres was a
success. The rain
started just as the
event started but
everyone tried to stick
it out. In the
end, only 3 foursomes
held out. The
Walker, Munneke and
Schmidt foursome came
into the clubhouse
extremely wet but proud
to of finished the 18
holes. The Munneke
gang won the tournament
with an 8 under in the
best ball tournament.
With many
contests on the course
and multiple prizes to
be given away, many
players went home a
winner. Some of
the prizes included
Timberwolves and Lynx
suites, games, signed
sports memorabilia, gift
certificates and more.
Of course
food is always a hit for
everyone!
Money
raised will help
purchase the new
scoreboards in the
Champlin Park High
School fieldhouse.
