1. Programs
Theme - Tuch came up with a theme that everyone liked. Getting down to business.
Cover - Using the theme, have Varsity or 12th grade basketball players where a shirt, Tie and blazer with shorts and tennis shoes. Have them sitting at a desks in school would be good. Tuch will see what he can come up with.
The front and back of the program will be in color.
Ads - Kim said there are some businesses that we still need money and/or the ad.
Denise, Jane and Jeff will be going to see the printer very soon to start the layout.
Jane went through pricing and printing timelines. It will take a total of 3-4 weeks to print the programs. It is best to over print as it will cost more to reprint and the turnaround time is about three weeks.
It was decided that we will order 1,000 programs.
Everyone agreed to charge at least a $1.00 per program. FINAL?
We plan to put the CP and the opposing team line ups in the programs.
We plan to publish at least two youth nights in the program.
Tuch is planning to have basketball pictures taken the last week in November. He will get pictures put on a CD to so that we can get them in the Program. It will take about 3-5 days to finalize the program after getting the pictures.
Tuch will get a Profile/Letter from the Principal and the Activities Director. He will also get Bios on the Coaches.
Reminder - Parents will have an opportunity to write a note to their boys in the basketball program. The cost will be $25.00. Tuch is planning a parents meeting and Denise thought a booster club representative should be there to inform everyone about the Booster Club and program opportunities, which include a parents note and if anyone owns a business or knows someone that owns a business that would like to place an ad.
